Positiveness of the Cauchy Function and Stability of a Linear Differential Equation with Distributed Delay

abstract:
Effective (in terms of the parameters of the problem under consideration) conditions are presented for positiveness of the Cauchy function of a certain class of functional differential equations with distributed delay. From this result new conditions for exponential stability of solutions are obtained.
