The International Programme Committee for ICME-10
The Executive Committee of ICMI announces that the International Programme Committee (IPC) for the 10th International Congress on Mathematical Education (ICME-10), to be held in Copenhagen on July 4-11 2004, is composed as follows:

The first meeting of the IPC will take place in Copenhagen in June 2001.
In addition to various more or less ex officio appointments (vg members of the ICMI Executive Committee or of the Local Organizing Committee), this committee comprises a new component for an IPC of an ICME: a member appointed by the Executive Committee of the International Mathematical Union, in the person of Wilfried Schmid. This position results from renewed contacts between the Executive Committees of ICMI and IMU and aims at reinforcing the links between the two bodies.
Any comment about the evolution of past ICME congresses and suggestion on the scientific program of ICME-10 should be conveyed to either the Secretary of ICMI or to the chair of the IPC:
