Virtual T1 encoded Computer Modern fonts based on (OT1) Computer Modern, Times, and Helvetica fonts, intended to simulate 'ec' fonts. (Wayne Sullivan's 'dm' fonts are another approach, substituting 'dc' fonts by virtual ones; the 'ae' fonts also do a similar task, aiming at the replacing the 'ec' fonts.
