ABSTRACT.
In this paper a Cauchy problem for holomorphic
differential operators of Fuchsian type is investigated.
Using Ovcyannikov techniques and the method of majorants, a
necessary and sufficient condition for existence and
uniqueness of the solution of the problem under
consideration is shown.
